“I am very excited for students to explore the arts at Miami,” said Elizabeth Mullenix, College of Creative Arts Dean. "Miami is often described as a university of a third kind because of its size and liberal arts mission. We are not a small liberal arts college whose art programs lack specialized faculty and national accreditation. Rather, students have the unique opportunity to engage in studio-based training from a large, highly skilled faculty while also taking advantage of all the things Miami has to offer, whether that means adding a second major in business or engineering or study abroad."
