Will there be help for students and their families?
Yes. Upperclass student volunteers and some staff will be available.
Can I come earlier than 9 a.m.?
You can. But the dorms will not be open. And beware, MU says most traffic back-ups happen in the morning.
Where can I park after move-in?
North Campus Parking Garage (near the baseball stadium), the Campus Avenue Parking Garage (near the Recreation Center), or in the Millett Hall or Ditmer parking lots.
Are there elevators?
Yes and no. Many halls have elevators. But MU says: "The good news is that our buildings are only three stories high."
Where can we eat?
Most halls will be open at lunch on Thursday. Students can use their meal plans. Family members can eat in the halls as well, using either credit/debit cards or cash.
What if we get delayed and can't get there until after 5:30 p.m.?
Call the Housing Options, Meals and Events (HOME) Office at 513-529-5000 to make check-in arrangements and guarantee your room assignment.
Move-in day for upper class students is Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Classes begin Monday, Aug. 28.
