Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine To Campaign In Oxford
DeWine For Governor Campaign event set for Nov. 14 at Arts Center.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, one of 11 candidates for Ohio governor, will make a campaign stop in Oxford on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
DeWine is scheduled to attend an event billed as "Discussion of Ohio's Future" from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Oxford Community Arts Center, 10 S. College Ave. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event is free, according to an Eventbrite listing.
DeWine, 70, is serving his second term as Ohio's attorney general. He earlier served two terms in the U.S. Senate, four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, in addition to time as an Ohio state senator.

DeWine's opponents on the GOP side include Jon Husted, Ohio's secretary of state; U.S. Rep. Jim Renacci; and Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor. Husted visited Oxford Sept. 20, as a guest of Miami University's College Republicans. DeWine's wife, Fran, was an MU College Republicans guest on Sept. 14.
Six Democrats are also seeking the governor's office in the November 2018 race. They include Dave Kiefer, former Wayne County Commissioner; Ohio Supreme Court Justice Bill O'Neill; former Ohio Rep. Connie Pillich; Ohio Sen. Joe Schiavoni; former U.S. Rep. Betty Sutton; and Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley.
