Journalism students in the spring section of Journalism 415: Practicum in TV Journalism covered all the big news from Oxford and Miami University in its Friday "Oxford Weekly News" program.

• plans for a new Talawanda school district superintendent and full-day kindergarten in local schools.
• the latest on off-campus armed robbery investigation.
• the impact of the growing number of Chinese-owned businesses Uptown.
• a remembrance of Cheryl Heckler, a journalism associate professor who died in February.

The latest OWN show was produced by Miami junior Kristin Stratman, with production assistance from Steve Beitzel, chief engineer in the Department of Media, Journalism & Film, and Ringo Jones, supervisor of media production and technology for MJF.
