Rapid Fired Pizza, a Kettering, Ohio-based pizza chain, is expected to open its doors in uptown Oxford later this month.
The pizza chain, which opened its first restaurant just over a year ago, will be located at 7 W. High St. near Miami University where Orange Leaf Yogurt shop stood earlier this year.

According to Rapid Fired Pizza co-founder Kelly Gray, the restaurant will employ 20 to 30 workers from the Oxford community and provide seating for about 60 patrons inside with optional seating outside.
Each location offers two sizes of pizzas with eight different sauce options, eight cheeses, more than 35 toppings and 14 dipping sauces. Pizzas are cooked to order, in ovens that complete the task in 180 seconds or three minutes. Additionally, restaurants offer craft beer, custom and pre-made salads, and desserts. Pizzas and salads are all priced at $7.50.

Rapid Fired Pizza opened its first restaurant in September 2015 and has been growing ever since. With seven locations currently up and running and 13, including the Oxford location, listed as "coming soon," Rapid Fired aims to take the pizza scene by storm.
The chain’s website says franchises costs between $230,000 and $560,000. To attract more franchise agreements, Rapid Fired Pizza highlights its low start-up costs, streamlined operations and ability to control operating expenses.
Rapid Fired Pizza expects to open stores in Beavercreek, Bowling Green, Westerville and Troy -- all in Ohio -- in the coming months.
The Oxford location will be open seven days a week, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The store will close at 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 10 p.m. the other nights of the week.
