Services will be Friday for First-year Student who Died Last Week.

The student who died in Morris Hall last Friday has been identified by Miami University as Erica Buschick, from Gurnee, Illinois.

She was a first-year student studying special education and was a member of Miami’s Best Buddies chapter.

Services for Buschick will be Friday at the St. Paul the Apostle Church in Gurnee, Illinois. Visitation is from 1 to 7 p.m., according to the University. A memorial Mass will follow at 7 p.m.

Students in Erica’s residence hall have been offered counseling, Miami reports.
