Baldwin Wallace Basketball Coach Entering Hall of Fame
Cheri Harrer, the BW women's basketball coach, is part of the 2017 Class for the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame.

BEREA, OH - The Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame recently announced its 2017 Hall of Fame class. Among those being inducted is Cherri Harer, the longtime women's basketball coach at Baldwin Wallace.
The Hall of Fame noted that Harrer is the second winningest women's basketball coach in the history of the Ohio Athletic Conference. She has has had 25 consecutive winning seasons, won eight OAC regular season championships and six tournament titles, and appeared in the NCAA Division III tournament 13 times. In 27 seasons, she has compiled a 549-202 career record and a .731 winning percentage.
"This obviously is an honor bestowed upon BW and our players past and present more than anything," said Harrer in a statement on the school's website. "BW has given me the chance to build the program. Of course the players deserve the most credit. They believed in what we were trying to accomplish both [academically and athletically] and sacrificed tremendously to achieve success. I was the lucky one to get to coach them."
