Baldwin Wallace University Makes Best Regional Colleges: U.S. News & World Report

The college was again ranked as one of the best Midwestern schools, the 24th straight year its achieved the feat.

BEREA, OH — Baldwin Wallace University, for the 24th straight year, has been rated as one of the top 20 colleges in the Midwest region, by U.S. News & World Report. The college was ranked as the 18th best in the Midwest.

BW was also named one of the best value schools in the region, ranking 14 on that list. The school also received credit for its programs for veterans, ranking 11 in best Midwestern colleges for former military members.

The college participates in the Yellow Ribbon program, which allows select veterans to attend the college essentially tuition-free. However, BW did not receive a ranking on a national level, so it cannot compare a ranking to Case Western Reserve University, which was ranked as the best college in Ohio. Princeton University in New Jersey was ranked as the best national university for the seventh year in a row.

Princeton is trailed by Harvard University, which comes in at second place, and the University of Chicago is the third best national university, according to U.S. News. For the 15th consecutive year, Williams College in Massachusetts ranked as the best national liberal arts college, followed in second place by another Massachusetts school, Amherst College.
