Berea Alum Gets Collegiate Academic Honors

Jacob Swank is one of Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse student-athletes to be named to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference.

From Baldwin Wallace University: Jacob Swank (Berea/Hilliard Bradley High School) is one of six Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse student-athletes to be named to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

In order to be selected to the Academic All-OAC team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

Swank, who earns his first career Academic All-OAC selection, is a finance major who carries a 3.51 GPA. The junior is a Dean's List student, a Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. He appeared in 10 games this season, recording a career-high six ground balls and forced a career-best four turnovers.
