BW Pitcher Gets Weekly Conference Honor
Evan Lovick of Baldwin Wallace University has earned third career Ohio Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week honor.

MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS-BEREA, OH - From Baldwin Wallace University: For the third time in his career, Baldwin Wallace University senior American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-Mideast Region and All-Ohio Athletic Conference pitcher Evan Lovick (Mentor/Mentor High School) has been named the OAC Pitcher of the Week.
In his first two starts of the season against Anderson (Ind.) University and Oberlin College, Lovick threw 10 total innings and did not allow a run with 12 strikeouts and only three walks as he notched a 2-0 record. Against Anderson, Lovick combined with two relief pitchers for a 1-0 shutout win after he went five scoreless innings.
For his career, Lovick has amassed an 18-4 record with a 2.38 ERA in 177.2 innings on the mound. He is a two-time ABCA/Rawlings All-Mideast Region and a three-time All-OAC selection.

Lovick and the Yellow Jackets will be back in action when the BW travels down to Florida for its annual spring break trip. The Yellow Jackets will take on St. John Fisher (N.Y.) College, Babson (Mass.) College, Moravian (Pa.) College, Bluffton University, Alvernia (Pa.) University, the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford (Pa.) and Kean (N.J.) University while on the trip.
