Emergency Culvert Repair Needed On Bagley Road
Cuyahoga County may give $250,000 to the city of Middleburg Heights to help with the project.

MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH — Cuyahoga County is considering giving $250,000 to Middleburg Heights to help with an emergency culvert repair on Bagley Road. Bridge inspectors from the county's Public Works Department said the culvert was close to failure.
“It is important that we continue to work together to provide our municipalities with the resources needed, especially in emergency situations,” said Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish. “The City of Middleburg Heights reached out to us and it is imperative that the culvert is repaired to prevent interruptions to the communities and services that could have possibly been affected.”
A culvert is a tunnel carrying a stream or open drain under a road. Given the importance of Bagley Road to southwest Cuyahoga County cities, keeping the street from disrepair is critical, the county said.
