Outstanding Military Nomination Deadline Coming Up
The deadline falls on May 6 and the selected nominee will be notified one month prior to the meeting date.
Middleburg Heights-Berea, OH - The deadline to submit a nomination for the City Council's William H. Beyer Commendation for Outstanding Military Service is May 6, Cleveland.com reported.
Officers and enlisted parties are eligible for nomination but must have been honorably discharged, according to Cleveland.com.
"Commendations will be presented biannually, at the Regular Council Meetings closest to Memorial Day and Veterans Day. If your nominee is selected, the Clerk of Council will contact you one month prior to the meeting date so that all necessary arrangements can be made. Please note that recipients may be contacted by Linda Kramer, the editor of the Berea Newspaper, and a photo of the recipient may be requested and published in the monthly edition," the nomination form reads.
