Week 8 High School Football Rankings: Where is Berea-Midpark?

The Ohio High School Athletic Association ranks the top 12 teams in each division and each region across the state.

BEREA, OH - The disappointing season marches on for the Berea-Midpark Titans. The team fell to 2 and 5 after dropping Friday's contest to the Avon Lake Shoremen 49-6. The Titans will look for redemption on Friday against North Olmsted.

A birth in the top 12 of the region is not out of the question yet for the Titans. Two teams in the region rankings have losing records, Mentor at 2 and 4, and North Canton Hoover at 3 and 4.

The top five teams in the region remain the same this week, despite Massillon Jackson taking its first defeat of the season. The big movement occurred just outside the top five, with Cleveland Heights jumping from the ninth spot to the sixth. Heights was aided by the massive tumble of Canton GlenOak, which lost another game moving them to 4 and 3 on the season.
