
Helen (Santora) Beavers, 90, died August 1 at her home.
She was born Jan. 10, 1922, to the late John and Marie Santora.
Beavers worked at Hoover for 37 years, retiring in 1984. She also served as secretary of a local International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers chapter.

She is survived by son Craig Wagner of Canton; grandson Christopher Dovidio (Lynette) of Canton; great-grandson Georgio Dovidio of Canton; son-in-law George Dovidio of Canton; brother-in-law Joseph Meola of North Canton; nephews David Gambone (Rita) of Boise, Idaho, and John Meola (Melissa) of Bayonne, NJ; and great-nieces Angela Hudson (Shawn) of San Antonio, Texas, and Tiffany Rooney (Dan) of Santa Rosa, Calif.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Dovidio of Canton;Â sisters Pauline Jones of Clearwater, Fla., Virginia Pratt of Sun City West, Ariz., and Domenica "Betty" Meola of North Canton; and a brother, John, who died in infancy.

Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, August 5, at Rossi Funeral Home, 730 30th Street NW, Canton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 6, at  St. Anthony/All Saints Church, 1150 11th St. SE, Canton.
