Citizens Bank celebrates new branch located inside Acme Fresh Market
March 17th grand opening festivities include refreshments, giveaways; Donation being made to Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank
Citizens Bank will hold a grand opening on Friday, March 17, to celebrate its new branch inside the Acme Fresh Market located at 3875 Massillon Rd in Uniontown.
This is the ninth Acme branch for Citizens, underscoring its commitment to providing customers with banking options that let them bank when, where and how they prefer. The celebration will occur from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will feature activities for children and adults as well as a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“Our customers continually praise the convenience and excellent level of service they receive at our supermarket branches,” said Joe DiRocco, president of Citizens Bank in Ohio. “We are excited about the new branch in Green and we invite the community to celebrate with us on March 17.”

In addition to the ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m., Citizens Bank customers and the general public are invited to attend the celebration, which includes a balloon artist from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., refreshments, and $5 gift cards to Acme for using the ATM or having a colleague demonstrate the Citizens mobile app.
Citizens Bank will also make a donation to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank for Harvest for Hunger. In December, Citizens donated to the Foodbank as part of the bank’s Carving Out Hunger program. In 2016, the bank contributed more than $100,000 to food banks across Ohio.

The new supermarket branch is designed to provide a blend of personal service and user-friendly technology. The branch provides the convenience of full-service banking seven days a week, including a private office for the Citizens Checkup program, which gives customers the chance to sit with a banker and discuss their financial needs. This new branch will also feature an enhanced ATM so customers can deposit checks and cash without needing envelopes and deposit slips.

The branch is open Monday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
