Hoover High School Wins $5,000 Engineering Program Grant

Engineering students came in second place in a STEM challenge.

This weekend, Hoover High School engineering students showed off their science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) skills — which led to a $5,000 grant for engineering programs.

During Goodyear's Engineering Career Day, students participated in hands-on STEM challenge. Hoover High School raked in enough points to place second in the competition overall. The team was awarded a trophy and a $5,000 grant to be used for the school's engineering programs.
