Max Shumaker of Boy Scout Troop 1, sponsored by Zion United Church of Christ in North Canton, has earned his Eagle Scout honor. For his service project, Max renovated a meeting room at Zion. He has earned 22 merit badges, is an Ordeal member of the Order of the Arrow, and has earned First Year Polar Bear, Third Year Good Camper, and Fifth Year Pipestone. Max is a junior at North Canton Hoover High School and the son of Steve and Sarah Shumaker.
