New Fitness and Support Class for Moms in Canton

From Merging Hearts Holistic Center: December 29, 2016 – A new group exercise class designed specifically for moms will be offered at Merging Hearts Holistic Center. FitMama is a total body group exercise class that includes some cardio. All fitness levels are welcome and modifications are offered throughout the class. FitMama offers a safe, encouraging, non-judgmental environment for mamas to begin or resume their fitness journey.

“It is my passion to encourage, empower, support and motivate moms. Being a mama is hard work and most likely the toughest, most challenging job you will ever hold,” says Humpty Dumpty Mommy, LLC founder and facilitator Amanda Fowler. “I hope to create a powerful support system of moms, so we can all encourage one another to be the BEST Mamas possible.”

FitMama is for any mom at any stage in their motherhood journey. “I do not purport to have all of the answers to health and wellness, says Fowler. “It is my hope to share with you what I have learned along the path of putting this mommy back together. Every day is still a journey and adventure for me. I’m thrilled to share the journey with you!” In addition to the physical benefits of the class, participants will also enjoy companionship and emotional support from other women.

Classes will meet Tuesday mornings at 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. The cost for each 50-minute class is $10. All moms are welcome, and should bring a yoga mat and bottle of water.
