North Canton City Councilman Bumped From 2013 Election
The at-large incumbent committed a fatal flaw when filling out his election paperwork.

The Stark County Board of Elections removed At-large North Canton City Councilman Mark Cerrata from the November ballot after he inadvertently neglected to include his address on a petition form, reports the Canton Repository.Â
With Cerreta gone, there are now three candidates vying for three council at-large seats: Incumbents Dan Griffith and Marcia Kiesling and challenger Jamie McCleaster, a pharmaceutical representative for GlaxoSmithKline.
Cerreta, a pharmaceutical representative for Pfizer, told the Canton Repository his address was on three of the four pages he submitted.
