Stark County Hunger Task Force Pantry Closed July 4

The emergency pantry will be closed in observance of Independence Day.

From Stark County Hunger: Stark County Hunger Task Force (SCHTF) officials announce the emergency pantry at 408 9th St. will close Tuesday in observance of Independence Day.

The pantry in the Ken Weber Community Campus at Goodwill will return to the regular schedule Wednesday from 9:15 a.m. to 3:35 p.m.

Pantry Hours: Mondays, 9:15 a.m. to 3:35 p.m.; Tuesdays, 9:15 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.; Wednesdays, 9:15 a.m. to 3:35 p.m., and Thursdays and Fridays, 9:15 a.m. to 1:35 p.m.

Time tickets for the pantry are distributed daily by the Goodwill receptionists on a first-come, first-served basis.

Founded in 1981, Stark County Hunger Task Force at 408 9th St. SW, Canton, leads the battle against hunger in Stark County. Operating almost entirely on donations, SCHTF provides free groceries to over 29,000 individuals every month through more than 30 food pantries, “Backpacks for Kids” programs and an emergency pantry.
