From Stark County Hunger Task Force: Stark County Hunger Task Force is seeking an executive director to manage all operational activities to fulfill the strategic objectives and financial goals of the public charity.
In this full-time position, the executive director works closely with the board of directors establishing policies and procedures to effectively manage daily operations of the respected, local 501 c 3, which has served the area for more than 35 years.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in management, marketing or a related field with five years of experience in successfully leading an organization, preferably in the non-profit arena, or at least 10 years of experience successfully leading an organization.
Candidates should demonstrate significant proven success in marketing, fundraising and grant writing; the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and community, in verbal and written forms; a sound knowledge of computers and social media channels, and the ability to solve problems, resolve conflicts and deliver results with little direction.

Founded in 1981, Stark County Hunger Task Force at 408 9th St. SW, Canton, leads the battle against hunger in Stark County. Operating almost entirely on donations, SCHTF provides free groceries to an average of nearly 28,000 individuals every month through more than 30 food pantries, “Backpacks for Kids” programs and an emergency pantry.
