4 Solon Comets Sign To Play College Sports

Soccer, football and cross country careers will continue for four students heading to the NCAA.

SOLON, OH — Wednesday was National Signing Day and four Solon High School seniors signed letters of intent to continue their athletic (and academic) careers. The students will play soccer, football and cross country at the next level.

The four students heading to the dominion of the NCAA are:

  • Mari Silvestri, who will play soccer at Ohio Dominican University
  • Thomas Wilks, who will play football at Walsh University
  • Jake Lynn, who will play soccer at Cleveland State University
  • Chantz Visse, who will run cross country at Loyola University

In April, Solon High School seniors will sign more letters of intent — this time as an indication of their intention to continue their academic careers or beginning their professional careers.
