College Signings: Two Solon High Students Commit
Two senior signed National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic and academic careers at the next level.

SOLON, OH — Two Solon High School seniors signed Letters of Intent committing to a college to continue their athletic and academic careers. Morgan Goodwin and Gabby Mitchell will be heading to North Carolina Central and University of Akron, respectively.
Goodwin will be playing volleyball at NCCU, while Mitchell will be playing basketball in the Rubber City. Both girls had decorated athletic careers at Solon High.
Goodwin's contributions will be badly needed by NCCU. Their volleyball team went 4-20 last season, according to the university's website. Luckily, they're getting a six foot player that made the all-tournament team at the Jackson Invite in September 2017, according to Solon Volleyball's Twitter.

"She leads our program in charges taken with 83.Averaged 11.8 points, 2.2 steals, 2.2 rebounds, 3 assists per game," said Solon High's girls varsity basketball coach Trish Kruse.
