Cuyahoga County Flood Warning Issued
The flooding should subside a little after 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for Cuyahoga County. The warning will expire at about 5 p.m. on Tuesday, unless conditions change.
The NWS reminds drivers that you should never drive your car through a flooded area. The water can be much deeper than it appears and you don't want to get trapped.
The following cities could experience flooding, the NWS said:

- Painesville,
- Ashtabula,
- Willowick,
- Conneaut,
- Chardon,
- Jefferson,
- Fairport Harbor,
- Geneva-On-The-Lake,
- Parma,
- Lakewood,
- Euclid,
- Mentor,
- Cleveland Heights,
- Strongsville,
- Westlake,
- North Royalton,
- Solon,
- Willoughby;
- and Eastlake.
The NWS said the following rivers are at risk of flooding:
- Chagrin River in Willoughby
- Grand River in Painesville
- Cuyahoga River in Independence
