Driver Admits To Smoking Weed In Solon
Police said callers complained about an erratic driver last week.
SOLON, OH — An erratic driver was stopped on US 422 and taken into custody for driving impaired on Dec. 11. Police said the driver gave them a urine sample which will be tested for narcotics.
At 1:30 a.m., callers told police there was a car swerving all over US 422. Officers tracked the vehicle down and saw it driving in and out of its lane. Police stopped the car.
The driver, a 21-year-old Michigan woman, told police she had been smoking marijuana that night. Officers gave her field sobriety tests and determined she was impaired. She was then taken into custody and driven to Solon Jail.

At the jail, the woman took a breath test and blew a .000. She then gave police a urine sample which will be tested at the Ohio State Highway Patrol laboratory.
Police said the woman is currently charged with operating a vehicle impaired and driving in marked lanes.
