Football Season Is Here, Buy Tickets For Solon Home Games
The Solon Comets will take the field against Aurora Friday night, looking to build on last season's success.

SOLON, OH — Last season, the Solon Comets clawed their way into the state semifinal game for Division I football. It was there the team met a premature defeat, losing to the St. Ignatius Wildcats, 31-17. It was a sour way to end a magical 9-1 season.
The Comets will return to action on Friday, squaring off against nearby Aurora at 7 p.m. in the first home game of the season. Solon will look to repeat its Greater Cleveland division winning season and the team will need supporters in the stands to make that happen.
