Geauga County Under Heavy Snow Advisory

While Cuyahoga County Residents will get only a light snow, Geauga County will get hammered on Friday and Saturday.

GEAUGA COUNTY, OH - Harsh winter weather is on the way for residents of Geauga County, according to the National Weather Service. Three to six inches of snow are expected to fall between tonight and 4 a.m. Saturday morning.

The Ohio Department of Transportation is asking drivers in the area to be aware of sudden snow squalls. The weather will cause low visibility and could disrupt morning commutes.

Much of Northeast Ohio will be able to dodge the winter conditions. The Cleveland area is expecting to get hit tonight with between one and three inches of snow. However, the rest of Friday and Saturday should see the snow taper off, with accumulations of less than an inch.
