Gun-Toting Masked Man Robs Bank In Northeast Ohio
The FBI said the man wore a silver skull mask and had a semi-automatic weapon when he robbed Citizens Bank in Bedford.
BEDFORD, OH — A man with a black semiautomatic gun robbed the Citizens Bank in Bedford on Tuesday. The man ordered all of the employees and customers to the ground, pointed his gun at them, and then took money from a teller.
According to the FBI, the lone suspect came into the Broadway Avenue bank and immediately ordered everyone to lay on the ground. He then demanded a teller put money into a plastic Family Dollar bag. After he got the money, he left the bank. No one was hurt during the robbery.
The suspect was a black man with "lots of facial hair," and a thin build. He was about 6 feet tall and wore dark clothing and a silver skull mask, the FBI said. Investigators have obtained photos of the man leaving a Family Dollar in Bedford, where he bought the skull mask.
