It's sad but true — summer vacation is coming to an end. 

Here's some important dates to keep in mind as the beginning of the school year approaches: 

  • Tuesday, Aug. 27: First day of school for grades 1-12
  • Thursday, Aug. 29: First day of school for Kindergarten students
