Job Fair To Be Held At Solon Community Park
More than 70 companies will be looking to fill positions during the four-hour event.
SOLON, OH — A job fair will be held at Solon Community Park, 6679 SOM Center Road, on Thursday.
The event will run from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. More than 70 businesses will be looking to fill over 600 positions during the job fair. Openings in service and retail, administrative and professional industries, and manufacturing and trades will be available. Attendees should bring copies of their resume and be ready for on-the-spot interviews.
“The Solon business community keeps growing and so do the number of jobs that are available. So far, in 2021, twenty new businesses have opened and several of our existing businesses are expanding. Businesses are hiring and we are hosting this job fair in response to the needs of our business community,” said Angee Shaker, the Solon’s director of economic development.

The first 400 attendees will received a free bag from Big Frog Solon. Food will be available for purchase from Chick-fil-A and 7-Eleven will provide bottled water and juice drinks.
“Whether you’re looking for a full-time, part-time or seasonal work, there a positions open in every category,” said Tom Bennett, Solon Chamber of Commerce president. “We have a tremendous business community here in Solon and this event will help showcase the participating companies."
