Night Out In Solon Returns August 7

Residents can meet emergency service members, like police and firefighters, and see K9 demonstrations, bomb squad robots and more.

SOLON, OH — The annual Solon Night Out sees residents mingle with and learn more about the various emergency services in the city. This year's event will see a K9 demonstration from police, sessions on safety for adults and games and activities for kids.

The event will be held August 7 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Solon Senior Center parking lot and inside the ballrooms of the Community Center. The Solon festivities are held in conjunction with Nights Out across the nation.

Hundreds of people regularly attend the Solon Night Out event. Last year's event included free ice cream and popcorn, a drone exhibition, a dunk tank, Jungle Terry's Traveling Zoo, hot dogs and burgers for sale, and a bomb squad robot, among many others.
