Reminder: Solon Snow Parking Ban Applies Citywide
Any time snowfall exceeds two inches, you cannot park on city streets.

SOLON, OH - Being at the tail edge of the snow belt means that Cleveland's eastern suburbs are regularly the victims of a brutal snowfall. With forecasts calling for freezing temperatures and more snow throughout the week, it's important to know what your city's parking ban is for winter days.
In Solon, the snow parking ban goes into effect whenever two or more inches of snow falls. If that accumulation occurs, there will be an emergency parking ban throughout the city. The goal of clearning the streets is to give plow trucks space to clear the roads.
In a statement, the city says that police will issue tickets and/or tow vehicles that are parked on city streets during a ban.
