Solon Fall Festival Set For October 6 Debut

The city's first annual Fall Festival will feature arts, crafts, hayrides, music, pie baking, pumpkin decoration and more.

SOLON, OH — The city's first annual Fall Festival will be held October 6 at the Solon Community Park. The event will feature hayrides, a pie baking contest, pumpkin decoration, inflatables, music and more.

The event starts at 10 a.m. and continues until 4 p.m. Besides the variety of events scheduled, there will also be an array of artisans, crafters, and food trucks on-hand.

“One goal of my administration is to bring the community together for fun, food and entertainmentin a casual setting. Fall Festival is the perfect opportunity to gather your family, friends, andneighbors and enjoy a fun filled day at the Community Park,” said Mayor Edward Kraus.

The Solon Recreation Department and Solon Center for the Arts are partnering with Becki Silverstein of Avant-Garde Art and Craft Shows for the Fall Festival. Becki will bring the crafters and food trucks to the event.
