Solon Football 7th In State In First Computer Ranking
The Comets are currently 3-1 and will return to action on Friday.

SOLON, OH — In the first OHSAA computer rankings of the 2017 football season, the 3-1 Solon Comets are 7th in the state. The team's only loss on the season came in a heartbreaking 17-14 loss to Stow-Munroe Falls, the number two team in the division.
The top three teams in the state are St. Ignatius, Stow-Munroe Falls and Canton-McKinley, all traditional football powerhouses. All four of the top four teams in Division I, Region I are undefeated. The other six teams in the region have at least one loss.
