Solon High Basketball Player Named All Ohio 2nd Team
Hailey Weaver had a long, decorated career playing hoops in Solon. Now she's part of the All Ohio team.
SOLON, OH — Solon High senior Hailey Weaver has been named All Ohio Second Team in basketball.
Weaver, who stands 6 feet tall, will be heading to Northwestern University next year. She had a decorated career with the Comets and finished her tenure by tallying 11.8 points per game, 3.8 assists per game, 4.1 steals per game and .7 blocks per game. She hit 14 3-pointers this season and shot 73 percent from the free throw line.
"It is a very deserving honor for Hailey as she is a three-year starter, won three conference championships, two district titles, and is a member of the state runner-up team from 2018. She is an extremely talented player that is a great fit for Northwestern University," said head coach Trish Kruse.

Solon Schools Athletic Director James McQuade said the district appreciate Weaver receiving recognition from the Ohio High School Athletic Association and the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association, who select each year's All Ohio teams.
