Solon Still 7 In OHSAA Football Rankings

The team will play the Euclid Panthers on Friday night.

SOLON, OH — For the third straight week, the Solon Comets are 7th in the OHSAA computer rankings for Division I, Region I football. The team is currently sitting on a record of 5-1 . The team will take the field again on Friday to play Euclid High School.

The Comets dismantled Brunswick Sept. 28, winning 28-14. It was Head Coach Jim McQuaide's 201 victory of his career.

Beating Euclid would likely spur some movement in the Comets computer rankings. The Euclid Panthers are also 5-1 on the season and are currently ranked 9 in the computer rankings.
