Ahuja traces the history of American health insurance from World War II through the COVID-19 pandemic. He notes that premiums and deductibles were rising at exponential rates prior to the pandemic, leading to financial struggles for average Americans.

"Through my analysis, I explain how COVID-19 has only exacerbated flaws within the healthcare system, and how millions of Americans are at risk of dying because of them. Through the explanation of this issue, I hope we can make amends to solve this pervasive problem," Ahuja said.
