Speeding Car Blows By Police Cruiser, Crashes In Solon Woods
A car chase started in Bainbridge and ended in Solon on Saturday, police announced.
SOLON, OH — A car chase ended with a crash in Solon, police announced.
On Saturday night, Bainbridge police tried to stop a car that was driving recklessly and didn't have its headlights on. The car ignored police and led a high-speed chase through the city.
Bainbridge police called off their pursuit, but the speeding car was then spotted rushing into Solon. The car blew by a Solon police cruiser before crashing into the woods at Cannon and Richmond roads, police said.

There were three people in the car and none were hurt. The driver, a 20-year-old from Broadview Heights, was cited for failure to control his car, failing to stop and driving without headlights. Two passengers, both teenagers, were turned over to Bainbridge police, a Solon police spokesperson told Patch.
The crashed car suffered undercarriage and side damage, Solon police said.
