Thieves Steal Purses From Cars In Solon

Police asked residents to keep their valuables hidden and their cars locked.

SOLON, OH — Thieves stole items from two cars in Solon on Thursday morning, police announced on social media.

The first theft happened at the gym Orange Theory on Kruse Drive. Police said someone broke into the locked car. A purse was stolen.

The second theft happened at the Starbucks in the Market District Plaza. That vehicle was left unlocked while the owner was inside, police said. A purse was also stolen in this incident, police said.

Solon police are investigating btoh thefts.

"Please remember to secure valuables out of sight, lock your vehicles, and keep the keys and fobs with you," police said.
