Water Main Break Prompts Solon Street Closures

SOLON, OH — A large water main break in Solon has prompted several street closures. Solon Road is closed at two points and Hawthorn Parkway is also closed.

The city said Solon Road eastbound, at Richmond, is closed. A detour route will be posted. Solon Road westbound is closed at Hawthorn Parkway. The city said a detour route will be posted for that closure as well.

Hawthorne Parkway at Richmond is also closed to Solon Road. A detour route will also be posted for drivers there. The closures will remain in place until further notice, the city said.
