Where Is Solon Football Ranked Heading Into The Last Week Of The Season?
The Comets haven't been able to muster a win in October.

SOLON, OH — A dismal October has put Solon High School's football team in serious jeopardy of making the playoffs. The Comets have gone winless through the month, losing games to Euclid, Mentor and Shaker Heights and falling to a 5-4 record on the season.
It's a disappointing sequel to the Comets triumphant 2016 campaign. Last year, the Comets rolled into the playoffs as the number one team in the region before being knocked off in the playoffs.
The most devastating loss this month was Friday's game against Shaker Heights. The Comets were favored to win the contest but were only able to muster one score on the game, losing 14-7 to the Red Raiders.
