3 Neighbor Complaints, All Between 1 and 2 a.m.: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Strongsville Police Department

Neighbors on three streets complained about neighbors making noise in the middle of the night June 22.

A Trenton Oval woman reported just after 1 a.m. that said her neighbor lets his dog out at night. He then often lets the dog bark, and when he calls it in, he yells for it, disturbing the neighbors.

On Springfield Circle, a resident said teenagers were jumping on a trampoline and yelling about 1:20 a.m. It's an ongoing problem, a report said.

And at 1:50 a.m., a neighbor complained she was awakened by her neighbor's music on Nanci Drive.

In the first incident, the dog was already inside when police arrived. In the second, the kids were also already in, but they were warned about the complaint.

In the third, police found people out in a hot tub. They asked the resident to turn down the music and she complied.

Cat-Napping

A Howe Road resident called police after learning her daughter's friend had taken a week-old kitten from her house.

The girl said the woman's 18-year-old daughter said she could take a kitten.

The girl brought the kitten back after police said it was too young to be taken from its mother.
