31-Year-Old Found Dead In Strongsville Apartment: Police

Officers are investigating the 31-year-old's death, Strongsville police confirmed.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — Police are investigating the death of a 31-year-old man in Strongsville.

On Tuesday evening, a woman called 911 and said she had found the 31-year-old unconscious in an apartment on Whitney Road. The 31-year-old was tinged blue and had foam around his lips, according to the police call sheet obtained by Patch.

When officers and EMS arrived at the apartment, they declared the 31-year-old dead.

The cause of the 31-year-old's death has not been officially determined, though he did have a history of drug use, police said.

Cuyahoga County is experiencing a nearly unprecedented spike in overdose deaths, the county medical examiner announced Tuesday. At least 69 people died of suspected overdoses in March in Cuyahoga County.
