Albion Road Resurfacing Happens This Week

The project started Monday and will continue through, at least, Friday.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — Crews will be resurfacing part of Albion Road this week. Construction started Monday and will continue through at least Friday.

The project will take place on Albion between Pearl Road and Eastland Road. City officials said on social media they hope the project will be done by Friday.

Traffic will be maintained throughout the resurfacing. However, there may be delays due to the project so drivers may want to find an alternative route avoiding that stretch of Albion.

Strongsville drivers will also want to be aware of two upcoming projects: Pearl Road's resurfacing and the expansion of Sprague Road.

Pearl's years-long resurfacing project will come to a close in 2019. City officials estimate the project will start in later summer this year. Crews will be resurfacing Pearl from the Ohio Turnpike bridge to Sprague.
