Armed Car Jacking at SouthPark: Police

STRONGSVILLE, OH - Police have arrested a suspect that may have stolen a car at gunpoint in the parking lot of the Cleveland Clinic at SouthPark Center, police said.

The victim told police a man approached his car with a gun and ordered him out of the vehicle on Wednesday at about 9:30 a.m., police said.

The victim exited his vehicle and suspect drove off onto Interstate 71, police said.

Police spotted stolen 2016 Black Chevy Traverse with one occupant on Broadway Avenue later in the day, police said.

Police arrested the occupant of the vehicle and are continuing to investigate the case, police said.
