Berea Animal Rescue Hosts All-New Luck of the Paw Casino & Game Night

New fundraiser launches Capital Campaign to build new shelter facility

BEREA, OH – May 10, 2017 – Berea Animal Rescue Friends (ARF) will host the Luck of the Paw Casino & Game Night, an all-new fundraising event to support its homeless animals, as well as serve as the public launch of a capital campaign that will enable the organization to build a new, larger shelter facility.

Luck of the Paw will be held June 10, 2017 from 6:30-10:00 at the Ehrnfelt Event Center in Strongsville, and will feature an evening of casino gaming, sideboard gambling, 50/50 raffles, huge appetizer and dessert buffets, a live DJ, strolling magician, silent auction and more.

Additionally, guests will get an up-to-the-minute peek at plans and progress for building ARF’s new shelter facility on the 16 acres of beautiful land purchased several years ago in Columbia Township, and will celebrate ARF’s 30th anniversary with a festive champagne toast..

“This will be an important night for ARF as we introduce our plans for building a new shelter facility that will allow us to help even more animals,” said Michelle Palmer, event coordinator. “We have a lot to celebrate, including our 30th anniversary, our amazing volunteers, adopters and supporters in the community.”

Available for bidding in the Silent Auction will be 25 affordable and fun-filled packages like Cleveland Night Out, African Safari Wildlife Park, restaurant and entertainment packages, theatre tickets, zoo membership and much more.

Tickets are $50 per person and include all-you-can-eat appetizers from a hearty buffet, a delectable array of desserts, free drink ticket and starter gambling chips. Tickets are available on the website at www.BereaAnimalRescue.com.

All the proceeds from Luck of the Paw benefit the homeless animals of the Berea Animal Rescue; Berea ARF relies completely on adoptions, fundraising and donations to support its operations and care for its animals.
