Brush Chipping Restarted Temporarily In Strongsville
If you have downed or damaged tree limbs or branches after this week's snowstorm, the city will help you get rid of them.
STRONGSVILLE, OH — This week's late-season snow damaged many Strongsville trees and bushes.
To help residents deal with that debris, Mayor Tom Perciak authorized the temporary resumption of the city's brush chipping program. Residents can use the program to get rid of storm-damaged tree limbs and branches.
However, to arrange a visit from the Service Department's brush chipping team, residents will need to call the Service Department at 440-580-3170 and leave a voicemail with their name and address.

Branches and brush should be of a manageable size, the city said. Cut ends should face the street. Branches must be placed at the curb.
Regular brush and branch chipping has been suspended this summer due to budget shortfalls caused by the coronavirus pandemic, city officials said.
