Cat Adoption Center Comes To North Olmsted

Tails from the City, a grassroots cat rescue group, is opening a facility in the city.

NORTH OLMSTED, OH — A new cat Adoption and Activity Center will open in North Olmsted on July 14. Run by Tails from the City, a grassroots, all-volunteer cat rescue, the new facility will expand the group's west side presence.

The Adoption and Activity Center will have a grand opening event on July 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The facility is located at 23130 Lorain Road.

Besides a bevy of adorable cats and kittens, attendees can expect light refreshments and plenty of proud and excited volunteers. Guests can sign up to volunteer, sponsor a cage, or help coordinate a donation drop-off, Tails from the City said.

"The new Center will be host to adoption events, a small fundraising retail section (for both cat and dog lovers!), Tails from the City merchandise, cat yoga, kitten kindergarten (and other educational seminars for pet owners hosted by area experts), movie night and more," said a group spokesperson in an emailed statement.
