Christmas In Strongsville: What's Open, Closed, Trash Schedule
Trash collection will be delayed one day for some residents, and the recreation center will have abbreviated hours on Christmas Eve.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — With Christmas landing on a Tuesday, some Strongsville residents will have a slight delay in their trash collection. City hall will also be closed for the holiday.
The city of Strongsville's administrative offices will close at noon on Christmas Eve and will be closed all of Christmas Day. Similarly, the Ehrnfelt Recreation and Senior Center will have abbreviated hours on Christmas Eve, opening at 5 a.m. and closing at 1 p.m. The facility will be closed all of Christmas Day.
The holiday will delay refuse collection by one day. For residents that have their trash picked-up on Tuesday, it will instead be collected on Wednesday, the city said.

The Strongsville Schools went on break Dec. 21. Classes will resume Jan. 7.

The Strongsville Public Library, like all Cuyahoga County Public Libraries, will be closed the following days:
- Sunday, December 23 – Closed
- Monday, December 24 – Closed
- Tuesday, December 25 – Closed
- Monday, December 31 – Closed
