Drowning Victim Identified As Strongsville High Grad
Allyson Sidloski, 21, was described as an incredible person, soccer player and student.
STRONGSVILLE, OH — A former Strongsville High School graduate drowned Saturday at East Fork Park.
Allyson Sidloski, 21, was in East Fork Lake, near the swim platform of a boat, when she disappeared, Fox 8 reported. Her body was found at 1 a.m. Sunday, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources announced.
Sidloski was a standout soccer player at Strongsville High and continued to play the sport at the University of Cincinnati. Her college coach, Neil Stafford, mourned Sidloski's passing.

"I am absolutely crushed for the Sidloski Family, our soccer team and the University," Stafford said. "There's no words for dealing with a tragedy on this scale. Ally was such a pillar of everything that's right about our program. A great student, gritty and resilient player and a phenomenal human being – this is an immeasurable and unspeakable loss. Our hearts go out to her family and friends and we will lift them up with our fond memories of Ally."
Besides being a shining light on the field, Sidloski was also an impressive student, achieving a 4.0 GPA in multiple semesters. She was tabbed for Academic All-AAC honors following the 2019 campaign.

During her time in Strongsville, Sidloski was a three-time All-Greater Cleveland Conference selection.
Sidloski is survived by her parents David and Tracie and two sisters, Katie and Nicole.
